Come create with us outdoors for a playful, process-based art experience designed especially for young children!

In this colorful Art in the Park class, children will explore the various ways chalk can be made into materials to draw with, paint with, and print with! We’ll be using water, rollers, brushes, graters, and spray bottles to create giant collaborative art on the concrete.

This class is focused on creative exploration rather than perfect projects, allowing children to experiment with materials, colors, movement, and imagination in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Please dress for mess and sunshine!

Why Choose Process Art?

Process art supports self-expression, experimentation, and creativity while promoting a joyful, stress-free art-making environment. These classes focus on the experience of creating—not the final product. Each project is designed to be open-ended, sensory-friendly, and developmentally appropriate. Your child will develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love for making in this supportive class!

What to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Messy/Play clothing (we often use fancy paint that is not as forgiving as tempera and stains easily!)

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Refunds: Refunds are available for cancellations made 7 or more days before the class. Cancellations or missed classes within 7 days of the class date are not refundable, due to the limited time offering and small class sizes.
  • Transfers: If your child cannot attend, you may transfer their spot to another child for the same session.

By registering for this class, you agree to our refund and cancellation policy outlined here
