About Megan Acosta
With over a decade of experience teaching art to children of all ages, I am passionate about using art as a way for families to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories. I hold:
- B.S. in Art Education and B.F.A. in Photography from Penn State University
- M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology from Texas Tech University
As a military spouse and mom, I understand the challenges of busy family life and the need for meaningful moments together. That’s why I focus on process-based art experiences that celebrate creativity and exploration rather than perfection.
My classes are offered through the Palmer Lake Arts Council and emphasize hands-on, collaborative, and imaginative learning.

Children's Process Art Class (Ages 4–6)
Foster your child’s creativity in our 4-week session designed for exploration and discovery.
Beginner Printmaking Workshop (Ages 5+)
Explore the beauty of Japanese paper marbling! Registration open to children and family members.
Suminagashi Paper Marbling Workshop ( 5+)
Learn the basics of printmaking in a fun, collaborative environment. Registration open to children and family members.
