Art in the Park – June 17, 2025 @ 10am – Monument, CO

Join us for a joyful outdoor process art class designed for young children ages 2-7 and their grown-ups! At Art in the Park we’ll explore a creative process-based project using colorful, high-quality art materials, natural inspiration, and lots of freedom to have fun. Playing together at the park afterwards is encouraged!

*We believe all children should have access to high-quality, meaningful art experiences. This class is a “pay what you can” class. A suggested enrollment price is $8 per student, to cover the cost of materials used.

📅 Details:

• When: Tuesday, June 17 @ 10:00–10:45 AM (See other class dates here).
• Where: Local park in Monument, CO (parks will rotate, details to be sent after registration).
• Ages: Recommended ages 2-7, siblings under 2 are welcome to tag along and do not need to register/pay, but please let us know if they will be participating so we bring the appropriate amount of supplies.
• Cost: Pay what you can! Suggested cost $8 per student attending.
  Grown-ups attend free, siblings under 2 attend free. All materials included.
• Group Size: Maximum of 10
• Caregivers must be present and keep accountability of their children at the park.

Process art supports self-expression, experimentation, and creativity while promoting a joyful, stress-free art-making environment. These classes focus on the experience of creating—not the final product. Each project is designed to be open-ended, sensory-friendly, and developmentally appropriate. Your child will develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love for making in this supportive class!

• Water bottle
• Messy/Play clothing
• Sunscreen/hats (we’ll try to set up in shade, but our parks change every week and we are not always guaranteed a shady spot!)

🌧 Weather Plan:

• If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move to a park with a gazebo, reschedule, or offer a makeup class. You’ll be notified via email by 8 AM the morning of class.

💵 Refund and Cancellation Policy:

• Refunds: Refunds are available for cancellations made 7 or more days before the class. Cancellations or missed classes within 7 days of the class date are not refundable, due to the limited time offering and small class sizes.
• Transfers: If your child cannot attend, you may transfer their spot to another child for the same session.
